PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS
Traditionally, portraits are done from life with the client/model sitting for the artist for several hours (or weeks or even months for big paintings). In today’s busy world, this of course is not often possible. A portrait done from a high quality photograph is an option, even though it is very difficult to get the same vitality into the picture as working from life would allow. The ideal way would be to arrange for 1-3 sittings, where photographs are taking and the painting is begun from life. I then continue and finish working from photographs and finish up with 1-2 sittings from life again.
Prices for portraits vary with size and medium, please contact me with the details of a project for further information.

If you have found a piece you like you can get in touch using the contact form or contact information below. If it is a commission of a new work a meeting is arranged (if possible), all details are settled and a fair fee agreed on.
If you like to purchase an already existing piece, the details could be talked about on the phone or by email. Though it would still be nice to meet for coffee of course. =)
